Professional experience in global macro trading

Since I started my career in June 2011, I have worked exclusively in global macro trading. I spent the early part of my career during the Eurozone's Grexit turmoil, marked a mid-career milestone with the advent of Donald Trump, and navigated the gigantic tides of easing and tightening triggered by Covid-19.

Throughout my career, I have taken on various roles. I started as a strategist on a trading desk, handling event monitoring, macroeconomic forecasting, price modeling, and position risk exposure analysis. I then transitioned to a proprietary trader, executing short-term trades across multiple asset classes based on macro views. I later moved to a hedge fund manager role, managing fund capital and overseeing FX and rates positions, gaining comprehensive experience across various global macro roles.

My market exposure and managed asset range have steadily broadened. Beginning with DM Rates, I expanded into spec directional trading across FX, Rates, and Commodities. I have dynamically allocated Treasury, IG, and HY within index-based strategies, building Fixed Income portfolios that adapt hedge ratios to changing rates regimes.

During this professional journey, I reached a new turning point in my career.
